Teams Meetings: Sharing Media during a Live Meeting

Summary

This article walks through how to share audiovisual media using Teams Meetings. 

 

How-To

Task: To share media and sound during a live meeting in Teams.

Instructions

Step 1 - To Share Video and Audio, first make sure the video you want to display is up on your computer and ready to go.  When you are ready, select Share at the top of the meeting

Step 2 - At the top of the Share panel, Slide On Include sound or Include computer sound 

Step 3 - Under the Screen area in Teams click on the Screen where the video is located that you would like to share

Step 4 -  You will see a large red outline over the screen you are sharing and participants will be able to see everything on your selected computer screen.

Step 5 - When you are finished sharing, click on the the red Stop sharing "x" box and people will no longer see your computer screen.

Outcome

Users will be able to share audiovisual media in a Teams Meeting.
