Signing into Office 365 Desktop Client on Windows and Mac

The following steps will demonstrate how to sign into Office 365

Windows:

1. Open Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint without opening a document.


2. Click on "Sign In" in the upper right-hand corner of the program.


3. After clicking on "Sign In" a window will pop up asking for your email. Type in your account username with @(institution).edu (username@---.edu)


 

4. Click "Next". A window will appear asking you to sign into your school account. Type your username (without @---.edu) and password in then click "Submit"


Mac:

1. Open Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint without opening a document.

2. Click on "Sign In" in the upper left-hand corner of the program.


3. After clicking on "Sign In" a window will pop up asking for your email. Type in your account username with @(institution).edu (username@---.edu)

 

4. Click "Next". A window will appear asking you to sign into your account. Type your username (without @---.edu) and password in then click "Submit"
