Troubleshooting configuring for UNH-Secure

If your device does not contain settings for WPA2-Enterprise it will not be capable of joining the UNH-Secure network. In such cases, contact your device vendor for support.

In most cases running the configuration applet located at https://wifi.unh.edu will configure your device for use on the UNH-Secure wireless network. If, for some reason, that applet is unable to configure your device, there are a few troubleshooting steps that you can try.

1) Remove any existing "UNH-Secure" wireless profiles. (See https://td.unh.edu/TDClient/KB/ArticleDet?ID=790 for specifics,) and then re-run the applet.

iOS Device Users

In some instances, the Cloudpath profile is downloaded to your iOS device but not properly installed. This can occur when a previous UNH-Secure profile exists on the device which the Cloudpath applet is unable to overrwrite with the appropriate settings. In this scenario, you may need to manually install the profile.

1) Navigate to Settings --> General --> Profile and click on the "UNH-Secure CPPM" profile.

2) If the profile has NOT yet been installed, you will see "Install" in the upper-right corner of the profile window. Click "Install" and enter your passcode to install the profile.

3) Once installed, navigate to Settings --> WiFi and select UNH-Secure to connect.

The Cloudpath applet attempts to automate as much of the configuration as possible for a device. In some instances other software, configurations or other factors may cause the applet to fail. Select "Show all operating systems" --> "Other Operating Systems" and follow the on-screen instructions to download the necessary certificates and configure your device for UNH-Secure.
