Windows Laptop Video Troubleshooting:

 Duplicate displays and adjusting display resolution

Enabling Duplicate Display  setting will mirror your laptop screen contents onto the connected projector or second monitor.

Windows 7, 8, and 10:

1. Press and hold the Windows Key + P. In the window that appears select Duplicate.
2. Right-click on the desktop and choose Screen Resolution. Set the screen resolution to the highest setting available.

Changing display color profiles

If the color balance of your image needs to be adjusted, follow these steps:

Windows 7, 8, and 10:

1. Open Color Management by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type color management, and then click Color Management.
2. Click the All Profiles tab, and then click Add.
3. Locate and select the new color profile, and then click Add.
4. Click Close.

Windows Laptop Audio Troubleshooting:

1. Ensure VGA + Audio OR HDMI is securely connected on both ends of the cable. HDMI carries video and audio through a single cable, VGA requires you to plug in the 1/8" (Headphone) audio plug. Do not connect VGA and HDMI at the same time!
2. Turn volume levels to 100% in this order: Application (Youtube, Kaltura, etc.) - Computer (Windows Laptop Volume) - AV Touch panel
3. Ensure the correct source is selected on the touch panel. Make sure Audio Mute is not engaged on the touch panel.
4. Still having problems? Try using audio from another source (iPod, other computer, video player). This will eliminate the AV system/speakers as the culprit.
5. If all else fails, restart the AV system using the touch panel, then reconnect your device after system cool down is complete.

1. Press the Fn key along with either the key labeled CRT/LCD or this icon:

Once you determine which key combination is appropriate for your laptop:

1. Locate the function "Fn" key on your keyboard. Press this key and hold it down.
2. While holding down the "Fn" key, press the appropriate function key from the table above.
3. Hold both keys for two seconds to see if the image appears on the projection screen.

If the projected image is displaying your wallpaper and nothing else, try pressing the Fn+F8 keys again. Each time you press Fn+F8 a different mode is selected. There are normally three display modes available; laptop display only, laptop and projected image, or projected image only. Please be aware that switching between modes can take a few seconds to occur.
