AVST: Recording a Standard Greeting or Name

How-To

Instructions

Step 1 - Call the AVST system

a. From your extension -- dial x2-4444

b. From a phone other than your extension -- dial 603-862-4444 and Press * then Press # and enter your mailbox number, when prompted

Step 2 - Enter account security code

Step 3 - Press 3 to access Phone Manager

Step 4 - Press 1 for Personal Options

Step 5 - Press 3 to record a personal greeting

Step 6 - Press 2 to record your Standard greeting

Step 7 - Press 2 to start recording and Press 2 again to stop recording

Step 8 - Press 5 to Save the standard greeting

You can press the Star ( * ) key at any time to return to Personal Options

Outcome

You should be able to record a standard greeting in the AVST system.

Step 3 - Press 2 to start recording and Press 2 to stop recording

Step 4 - Press 5 to Save the Name
