Instructions for Confirming You are Registered in SmartAuth

To confirm whether or not you have already registered a phone number in the SmartAuth service, try to login to your SmartAuth Profile: https://smartauth.usnh.edu/secureauth36

If you DO have a phone number registered in the SmartAuth service, after successfully entering your username and password, you will be prompted to select one of your registered devices for receipt of a passcode.

Select a delivery method and enter the passcode to view your SmartAuth Profile. From here you can register more phone numbers and register the Authenticate App . Note: it is strongly recommended that you register more than one phone/device in the event you forget or lose one.

If you DO NOT have a phone number registered in the SmartAuth service, after successfully entering your username and password, you will be prompted for your 9-digit USNH ID Number. Enter you USNH ID and select Continue to start the phone number registration process. You must register at least one phone number even if you intend to use the Authenticate app. Detailed instructions are here: Registering a Phone Number for SmartAuth
