TeamDynamix: Editing the Resource Allocation Percentage on a Project Plan Task

This article details how to edit the resource allocation percentage on a project plan task with Web Plan Manager or Windows Plan Manager.

How-To

Instructions

Step 1 - Do not "Check Out"  the plan.

Step 2 - Select the entire task row.

Step 3 - Right-click and select Task Details.

Step 4 - Select Resources tab.

Step 5 - In the "Action" column select Edit.

Step 6 - Enter new "PCT".

Step 7 - Select Save in the "Action" column.

Step 8 - Close window and select Refresh in upper left-hand corner.

 

Outcome

Resource allocation on a project plan task will be updated.

Step 1 - Check Out the plan.

Step 2 - Double-click in the task row.

Step 3 - Select the Resources tab.

Step 4 - Drag the slider in the "% Assigned" column.

Step 5 - Close window.

Step 6 - Save and Check-In.
