Moodle - Removing Percentages from user report

Tags PSU

This article describes how to remove percentages from the student's User Report.

Moodle's User Report is a grade breakdown for each student. When a student clicks on the Grades link in the Navigation block, they are taken to their User Report, which displays all of the assignments (and grades) for the course. Depending on the course grading structure, weightings and contribution percentages may be unnecessary to display (or confusing). Follow the instructions below to remove this column from your User Report area.

  1. In the course Administration block (usually found on the left sidebar), select Gradebook setup.
  2. In the drop-down menu at the top of the page, choose Course Grade Settings.
  3. In the course settings section, locate the Show percentage drop down menu.
  4. Open this menu and select Hide.
  5. Optionally, locate the Show Weightings drop down menu
  6. Open this menu and select Hide.
  7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save changes.
    • When you view the User Report, notice the Percentage column has been removed.
