Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Navigating SFMC from an Email Link

Summary:

This article will discuss accessing an email using a link from an email alert that was generated by SFMC.

Content:

When accessing SFMC from a link contained within an email that was generated from the application, the link will take the user back to the approvals area of the application where there is limited functionality. To gain additional functionality such as the ability to send the email that was just approved.

  1. The user receives an email stating that the content has been approved
  2. User clicks on the link within the email

 

 

3. User is navigated to the Approval area

4. User needs to click on the Home (Blue Icon) in the upper left of the screen

5. This will navigate them back to the main landing page where they can then click Email Studio -> Email

6. Once the user is back in the Email area they will be able to locate their content from either the Overview or Content page.

TIP: The Content page has a Search option

7. Once the user has located the email, they will then have the ability to Select Send from the upper right area within the Content to start the Send process. See related article: Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Sending an Email
