This article will outline the process of logging into the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) email communication application for the first time and changing your password.

Users can access the SFMC through the USNH Portal:

Be aware that the Salesforce Marketing Cloud is not part of the USNH domain thus your standard USNH login credentials will not work. Follow the instructions below to access the application.
- Type in the following URL to a Browser (or click): https://mc.exacttarget.com/cloud/#
- First time users please contact Salesforce Marketing Cloud admins for temporary password and user set up acknowledgement.
- User name will be your USNH Username in the following format: ABC1010@unh.edu
- SFMC will prompt you to verify the browser, click on the Icon to get a code emailed
- SFMC will email the user a code that can be copied and pasted into the browser for access
- Reset Password -- set the new password following the on-screen prompts and criteria
- User will open their email and check for the Activation Code email -- open email to get activation code and enter in browser
a.Note, users may get this again as they use different computers/browsers, so they should be ready to see it once in a while
Forgotten Password
- If the user forgets their password, use the Forgot Password link
- Ensure your email address is formatted correctly
- When you recieve the verification email, its best to Type the characters into the field.
- NOTE: if you copy and paste the verification code many times it pastes in a black space at the end the user will receive a message "verification code is not correct"
- Create a new password ensuring you are meeting all the needed criteria as listed on the page. As criteria is met, the user will see a green checkbox.
