This article covers the self-service method to set a new password on MyAccount for a non-primary account. Examples of non-primary accounts include:

  • service accounts
  • admin accounts
  • test accounts
  • secondary accounts
  • pool accounts

If this does not sound like what you are looking for, please visit our MyAccount Resources article or contact your campus help desk. Please note that there is no self-recovery for such an account, so if you have forgotten your password, you must contact the Help Desk for support.

  1. Connect to the UNH VPN using the credentials on your primary account
    • This requirement includes account owners who do not hold any UNH affiliation; if you need help connecting to the UNH VPN, please see: Pulse Secure UNH VPN FAQ.
  2. Visit: (opens in new tab)
  3. Here, you will be presented with a login screen; log in using the credentials for the non-primary account
  4. Once you’ve authenticated, click Change Password
  5. You will be prompted to review and agree to the acceptable use policy for use of technology resources; when you’re ready, click Continue
  6. On the next screen, you will be prompted to enter your current password.
  7. Following the basic password guidelines present on the page and the USNH Password Policy, set a new password. This process may take a few minutes. Once it’s complete, be sure to log out of your devices and re-authenticate with your new password if necessary.

Please note that this is the only functionality available to non-primary accounts. You cannot use Forgot Password to recover such an account or register a recovery profile.
