Some users will require sites that contain information regarding students (FERPA) or medical information (HIPAA) in these cases special care needs to be consider regarding permissions. This article will outline the steps needed to set up a site to accommodate FERPA or HIPAA needs.

If your SharePoint Site needs to contain any FERPA or HIPAA compliant information we ask that you first contact the SharePoint Admins in order to discuss the data and potential Security needs for the site. We ask that you please Request Support Here.
