MyAccount: How to change your password

This article covers the self-service method to set a new password on MyAccount. If you have forgotten your current password, please see our article on How to reset your password when you’ve forgotten your current password.   1. Visit: https://myaccount.usnh.edu/ (opens in a new tab)
  2. Here, you will be presented with a login screen. Log in using your current credentials. Once you have authenticated, click Change Password.

  3. You will be prompted to review and agree to the acceptable use policy for use of technology resources. You are also given an opportunity to record your USNH ID number for future reference. When you’re ready, click Continue.
  4. On the next screen, please review our advice on preparing for your password change. You will be prompted to enter your current password one more time.
  5. Following the basic password guidelines present on the page and the USNH Password Policy, set a new password. This process may take a few minutes. Once it is complete, be sure to log out of your devices and re-authenticate with your new password.
