How to install Adobe Creative Cloud – All Apps (named-users subscriptions only). Not for lab devices

Windows

  1. A day or two after placing your order via the USNH uShop punch-out, you will receive an email from Adobe. The subject line will read Get started with Creative Cloud All Apps. These emails typically hit your inbox, but sometimes are redirected to Junk/Spam folders. When the email arrives, in the body of the email is a blue button labeled Get started. Click that button
  2. You will be taken to Adobe’s website and will be asked to Select an account. Choose Personal Account
  3. You will be taken to Adobe’s website and will be asked to Select an account. Choose Personal Account
  4. Your USNH email address will be displayed at the top of the Enter your password screen. Click on Reset your password at the bottom of the screen to set your Adobe password
  5. The Update your password screen will appear and ask for a code. This will also be sent via email
  6. Enter the Verification code in the fields provided. You will be then taken to the Update your password window to choose an Adobe password
    • Note: Adobe subscriptions do not use SSO. This password is unique in that it will only be used for Adobe
    • The criteria for your new Adobe password is:
      • Contains at least 8 Characters
      • Contains both lower- and upper-case letters
      • Contains at least one number or symbol
      • Does not contain your name or email address
      • Is not commonly used or a previous password
  7. Type in your password in the New password field and then again in the Repeat password field. Click the Update Password button to continue. Your password has been updated should be displayed confirming your new password. Click the Continue button
  8. Click Skip and continue at the Want to sign in without your password? (The Adobe Account Access app is not supported)
  9. A new browser tab will open and will take you to the Creative Cloud home site. On the right-side of the screen will be your account name and some categories. Under Quick Links click on Install Creative Cloud app
  10. Click Save File for the Creative_Cloud_Set-Up.exe prompt to save the download file to your computer. Depending on the browser you are using, the download file will appear in the upper right or lower left of your browser. In any case, click that file to start the download and install process
  11. At the Install Creative Cloud window, click Continue
  12. Click Yes if the prompt asking Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? appears
  13. The installation will begin, and while that is happening, you may be presented with some questions on your familiarity with Adobe products. Answer those as you see fit, or you can Skip question. Click Continue once all questions are answered or skipped
  14. Wait patiently until the install is complete
  15. Once the install is complete, Creative Cloud Desktop will be opened. Click the OK button at the Welcome to Adobe Creative Cloud window

Creative Cloud is the dashboard to all available Adobe Products. Once you have Creative Cloud installed, open the application and choose Apps in the upper-left to see the list of available apps. Anything with Install under the app is available to install. Just click the Install button and Creative Cloud will download and install the application automatically. All installed applications are located under the Installed section of Creative Cloud

macOS

  1. An Installer window prompt will appear. Double-click the application box to start the install
  2. A window may appear stating that Creative Cloud Installer is an app downloaded from the Internet. Click Open
  3. Click Continue at the Install Creative Cloud screen, if prompted
  4. If prompted, add your Mac password to the Creative Cloud Installer wants to make changes box, then click OK
  5. When Creative cloud is finished installing, all dialog boxes will close, and you will see the Creative Cloud dashboard. Click the Apps tab in the upper-left to install any available applications
