Outlook: Forwarding your Email Messages to Another Email Account

Summary

This article explains how to forward your USNH email messages to another email account using the Outlook Web App.  This Article is applicable to Students ONLY.

Important Information

As of November 1, 2022, auto-forwarding from USNH email accounts to external email accounts was disabled for all USNH employees (students are not impacted).  Auto-forwarding may cause unintentional disclosure of protected or restricted information and poses a risk to the confidentiality of data. All emails auto-forwarded to an external email account such as Gmail or Yahoo! will no longer deliver to that address starting on 11/1/22. This will not impact manually forwarded emails.

 

How-To

Task: To forward Outlook email messages to another email account.

 

Instructions

Step 1Access your USNH email account 

Step 2 - Click the gear icon Gear icon to access Outlook Setting menu. in the upper right hand corner of the Outlook window.

Step 3 - Scroll to the bottom of the Settings menu, and click View all Outlook settings.

Step 4 - Select Mail > Forwarding.

Step 5 - Check Enable forwarding.

Step 6 - Enter a valid email account in the field.

Step 7 - Click Save.

Note: To keep a copy of the message in the original account, check Keep a copy of forwarded messages.

 

Outcome

Email messages are forwarded to the email account that you entered in the field.
