Pulse Secure VPN: Desktop Client Creating and Removing Profiles


This article provides instructions to create and remove VPN profiles in Pulse Secure.


Notice: Effective in November 2021, USNH VPNs (including GSC, UNH, KSC, and PSU) will require the use of multi-factor authentication for added security. Login screen appearance is changing, but all other functionality is remaining the same.



Task: To Create Profiles in Pulse Secure.



Step 1 - Open Pulse and click on the + sign to add a new connection.



Step 2 - Fill in any required information, which varies for each version, but may include:

Campus VPN Name and VPN URL:

  • For GSC and UNH (including the USNH System office) the URL is:  https://enterprise.vpn.unh.edu/login/
  • For Keene State the URL is:  https://kscvpn.keene.edu
  • For Plymouth State the URL is:   https://vpn.plymouth.edu

Realm: Leave blank

Role: Leave blank

Example of  completed UNH VPN profile:



Step 3 - Click Add or Save to save the profile.

Step 4 - Click Connect, then signin to Pulse Secure using your USNH Username and Password.



You have created a VPN profile in Pulse Secure.


Task: To Remove VPN Profiles from Pulse Secure.



Step 1 - Open Pulse Secure.

Step 2 - Select Profile to be removed,

Step 3 - Click on X in Connections section to “Delete Selection”.




You have removed a VPN profile from Pulse Secure.
