AVST - Recording a Standard Greeting or Name

Task: To record a standard greeting in the AVST system:

• Call the AVST system:
  • From your extension -- dial 862-4444
  • From a phone other than your extension -- dial 862-4444 and Press * then Press # and enter your mailbox number, when prompted
• Enter account security code
• Press 3 to access Phone Manager
• Press 1 for Personal Options
• Press 3 to record a personal greeting
• Press 2 to record your Standard greeting
• Press 2 to start recording and Press 2 again to stop recording
• Press 5 to Save the standard greeting

You can press the Star ( * ) key at any time to return to Personal Options

To record your name:

• Follow first 4 steps above to access Personal Options
• Press 5 to record a Name
• Press 2 to start recording and Press 2 to stop recording
• Press 5 to Save the Name
