Instructions for registering iClickers

 

The iClicker device MUST be registered through your Canvas course. Your iClicker activity will not be associated to your name unless you register through your Canvas course. Registering your device allows your polling points to be assigned to you in the Canvas grade book.

DO NOT register your remote at iClicker.com. The iClicker software and Canvas does not recognize your iClicker device activity, if you register on the iClicker website.

 

Registration instructions:

  1. Login to your Canvas course.
  2. Navigate to the course in which you will be using iClickers.
  3. Select the iClicker link in your course. This link may appear in the left Course menu panel as iClicker or it may appear in the Modules area with a link called iClicker.
  4. Enter your iClicker serial id number found on the back of your device. Note: There are no "O"’s (the letter) in a remote ID serial number, only the number Zero.
  5. If you have a pre-existing iClicker serial id number and are no longer using that device, use the Remove button to remove the serial id from the course.
  6. Select Register to complete the process.
